Please read these terms and conditions carefully. They apply when you buy goods via the site, by telephone and any other such distance means as we may permit. These terms and conditions do not apply when you buy goods in store from our retail premises. There are separate terms and conditions which apply to these transactions and are available on our retail website.

Please print or save these terms for future use as we cannot guarantee they will remain accessible on our website for future use. These terms and conditions are available in the English language only.

Where we refer to the “customer” we mean an individual acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside that person’s trade, business, craft or profession.

We are legally required to remind customers that we are under legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with the contract. Furthermore noting below affects customers legal rights in relation to goods that are not in conformity with the contract, whether because they are faulty, not described or otherwise. You can get further information about your legal rights from your local Trading Standards or Citizens Advice Bureau.

When you communicate with us in behalf or a business or organisation you promise that you have authority to act on behalf of that entity.

We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Please check them carefully as they will apply to any new purchases occurring after the effective date shown.

SAMPLES

Whilst we try to reproduce colours of fabrics, wallpapers and paints accurately all monitors vary and there it is advised that customers use our sampling service to see the actual fabric before ordering. If you require an exact match please ask for a STOCK” sample so that you can be sure that the fabric you order will be exactly the same shade as the sample, as batch variation can differ. All stock samples should be requested through the standard sampling service but STOCK should be highlighted on the order notes. Returns cannot be accepted for fabrics (unless faulty) as they are cut products. Stock cuttings are applicable for a maximum of 7 days.

FABRIC

Fabrics such as silks and linens often have natural characteristics. Creative Curtains and Interiors cannot accept returns for such natural occurrences.
With both printed and woven fabrics every effort is made to avoid irregularities, occasionally they may occur. Fabric is not completely stable and it cannot be taken for granted that whether printed or woven, the patterns will be completely ‘square’ on the cloth. When planning multiple width curtains please ensure before cutting that pattern alignment is adequate to produce a satisfactory result. We cannot accept claims after goods are cut. Repeat lengths may vary from roll to roll and we would advise you to be generous in your estimates. Fabrics are not guaranteed against colour fading. Pattern repeat can sometimes vary please double check pattern repeats before cutting.

Variations can happen from batch to batch and certain tolerances are expected due to printing and manufacturing processes.

Unless otherwise stated in the product description we advise that all fabrics are professionally dry cleaned.

SHRINKAGE / FABRIC APPEARANCE

Creative Curtains and Interiors cannot guarantee that there will not be shrinkage in the fabric subsequent to purchase and make up.  We advise you always allow for possible shrinkage when making curtains and loose covers. Most fabrics tend to shrink when laundered, cleaned or to a lesser extent when in use in certain atmospheric conditions. Atmospheric conditions may vary in different weather and seasons. We cannot control these conditions and therefore cannot accept responsibility for the movement or the general appearance in fabric used to make curtains or blinds when hung. Heavier fabrics may react to changing humidity and the control of humidity in a room remains the customer’s responsibility.

ORDERS

The customer is responsible for their own calculations and Creative Curtains and Interiors cannot accept responsibility for inaccurate calculations.

When you place an order you will receive an e-mail from us confirming receipt of your order. As we aim to deal with your order immediately upon receipt we are unable to accept cancellation on cut fabric.

As we process your order we will inform you by email if any products are unavailable, and we will confirm despatch of your goods by way of a confirmation of despatch email.

All payments for online orders and taken in full at the time of order. If the order is out of stock, you will receive an email informing you of this, followed by an estimated time frame on when we expect the stock to be available.
If you would like to check stock prior to ordering please email orders@creative-curtains.net please note when stock is supplied by a third party stock levels can only be confirmed during business hours.

RECEIVING GOODS

Where you order goods from this website you agree to inspect the goods as far as is practicable before you sign and accept them. This applies to anyone accepting goods on your behalf. We may not be responsible for damage to goods that was identifiable at the time the goods were delivered, unless notified to our nominated carrier company that the goods are damaged at the time of signing. This noticiation must be in writing and we would advise where possible a picture of the damage is also taken.

If you have asked us to send fabric to a third party e.g. curtain maker, upholsterer it is your responsibility to ensure that the correct fabric has been received before making up commences.

Any queries regarding the measurements, meterage or length of fabric received must be drawn to our attention within 5 days of receipt. We can only rectify mistakes on the lengths / meterage of fabrics prior to the fabric having been cut into. Once a fabric has been cut or altered in any way we cannot be responsible for any shortages in length or faulty.

DISCOUNTS, SALES PROMOTIONS

By placing an order with us online or over the telephone, you are agreeing to pay the price displayed at the time and date. Prices may be subject to change during sale and promotional periods. We are unable to refund any difference if the item ordered is discounted after you have confirmed the order.

RETURNING FABRIC

Returns cannot be accepted for Fabric unless faulty and uncut. All fabric items available for sale on this website are by the meter and are therefore classed as cut fabrics.

WALLPAPER

Sampling service

We are unable to accept returns on part orders of wallpaper (e.g. single rolls) full boxes may be returned (at the customers expense) for a full refund (excluding delivery charges) and subject to a restocking fee of 25%.

CANCELLATION

Please note that all orders accepted for fabric on this website are specified as bespoke items and are therefore exempt from the right to cancellation. There is a requirement to accept this as part of our terms and conditions at the point of placing the order.
